MECHANIC’S LIEN WARNING
NOTICE TO OWNER:
Under California law (Civil Code § 8100 et seq.), those who furnish labor, services, equipment, or materials for a construction project may have the right to record a Mechanic’s Lien against your property if they are not paid in full. A Mechanic’s Lien is a legal claim against your property that, if unpaid, can result in foreclosure and the forced sale of your property.
If Classic Custom Woodworks or any subcontractor, supplier, or laborer working under our contract is not paid in accordance with the terms of the agreement, we may pursue all remedies available under California law, including but not limited to:

Recording a Mechanic’s Lien with the county recorder’s office where the property is located.

Commencing a lawsuit to foreclose on the lien.

Seeking recovery of attorney’s fees, court costs, and any other damages allowed by law.
